While there is some truth in the proverb "you're past is a good indication of your future." In the past we have developed good quality fishing tackle, for those who love to catch fish. We will continue the tradition of cleaver innovative tackle. However current environmental problems have led us to change our view of fishing. In my Grandfathers’ day catching a fish was the difference between having a full stomach or an empty one. But today fish environments are under pressure from many angles, just to name a few:
- The consumer product attitude to fish
- The destruction of fish habitats
- The human toxic impact on fish
- The Greedy fishing attitudes
- The Token effort to endangered fish stocks
The same fish species that helped generations with food during the great depression should be protection. It is right to look after our oceans, lakes, rivers and estuaries. So into the future we will design cleaver innovative tackle, but we will also fight for fish rights. To not only exist, but to flourish in abundance.
